They are also the busiest band in the Manitoba Wedding and Manitoba Corporate Dance Band markets, offering a modern alternative to the old time Manitoba wedding bands. The Danny Kramer Band was chosen to perform at the Kenora Yacht Club 100 Year Anniversary Gala attended by Royalty, and has even played a wedding featured in Modern Bride and People Magazine, and on Entertainment Tonight. The wonderful daughter of the owners of The Hotel Fort Garry got married, and though all the Winnipeg Wedding Bands play their hotel, they chose this band to entertain. This extremely talented ensemble has played the James Richardson & Sons Christmas Party several years in a row. (They had asked them to perform at the company’s 150 year Anniversary) The prestigious St.Charles Country Club has booked The Danny Kramer Event Band for their last 4 New Years Eve parties, as this unit offers the top Corporate entertainment in Winnipeg. This was also the band that St.John’s Ravenscourt hired to perform for their most successful fund raiser in their history. The Danny Kramer Band can offer you a 12 piece group, or they can reduce the band size to an 11, 10, 9, 8, or 7 piece ensemble. This band is made up of world class musicians, who are extremely professional on and off stage. The Core of the band is made up of Guitar, Keyboards, Bass and Drums plus 3 lead vocalists. Band size increases by adding up to 4 Horn Players A Pianist or Jazzy Trio can be provided for your reception dinner if required A normal evening is a 4 consecutive hour booking, i.e. 8PM to midnight, or 9PM to 1AM etc. It's the fantastic musicians who continue to create the success of this project. Danny's band consists of some of the top musicians in all of Canada including Carlin Lemon, Larry Roy, Janine Gobeil, Luisa D'Abramo, Kevin Torgalson, and Ryan Voth, among others. Danny Kramer was chosen by Pete Townshend of The Who to perform in his award winning musical Tommy. Larry Roy (Guitar), is an award winning Jazz producer and critically acclaimed guitarist, (He was the 2006 Jazz Musician of the Year) thus we can easily switch into the Rat Pack era of Jazzy standards, then into the R&B and rock of the 60's, Disco of the 70's, Pop of the 80's and 90's, along with todays hits.
